The PTA is meant to be a support for teachers as well as an advocate for students and resource for parents.  If you would like the PTA to provide resources toward a school initiative, download a copy of the school initiative plan of work.  Place the completed plan in the PTA inbox.  The board of directors will review the plan and make a decision regarding the request at the next board meeting. 

Families of fourth and fifth grade band and

orchestra students, are your young

musicians taking their instruments to

school on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the

classes?  Are they bringing them home on those days, as well?

 Most of the students are doing a great job of coming to the

lessons with supplies and taking them home.  More

importantly, are you hearing the practicing sounds on a

regular basis at your house?  Please compliment and

encourage your young ones to persist.  It takes about four

months of regular practice to develop the strength to evolve

into a strong musician at their ages.

Remember, the Instrumental classes are a curriculum course

to work as ard as they are expected to work in all of their

classes.
